My Journey

Academic expertise.

Real-world experience.

For more than ten years, I have been helping people not only learn English, but use it confidently in real life.

My teaching journey has taken me across Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Denmark, and Greece. Along the way, I have worked with children, teenagers, and adults – each with different goals, experiences, and ways of learning.

That experience has shaped the way I teach today.

You won’t find one-size-fits-all lessons here. I combine my academic background in linguistics with practical teaching experience, authentic communication, and tasks that have a clear purpose beyond the classroom.

My Teaching Approach

I don’t follow a coursebook page by page or teach from a fixed script. Every lesson is designed around your goals, your progress, and the areas that will make the biggest difference to your English.

My teaching is inspired by Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), a modern, learner-centred approach that focuses on using English to communicate rather than simply learning about the language. Instead of completing isolated grammar exercises, you’ll solve real-life tasks, discuss authentic topics, and develop the skills you need to use English confidently inside and outside the classroom.

As your confidence grows, your lessons evolve with you. Whether your goal is to pass IELTS, prepare for Cambridge exams, improve your Business English, or simply become a more fluent speaker, every lesson is carefully adapted to maximise your progress.

Less time completing exercises. More time using English with purpose.

“No two learners are the same – so no two lessons should be either.”

My values

What shapes my teaching

Trust, respect, and authentic communication are at the heart of every lesson.

Your goals, interests, strengths, and experiences shape the way we work together.

Every lesson should have a clear purpose and give you something useful to take away.

My goal is not only to help you improve your English, but also to give you the tools and strategies to keep progressing independently.

My mission

Use English with real purpose.

To create learner-centred lessons where English is not simply something you study, but something you actively use to communicate, think, connect, and achieve your goals.

My vision

Make language learning more human.

Learning a language should be personal, relevant, and connected to real life. I want every learner to have the space and confidence to find their own voice in English.
